Avatars:
'Who are You?'

An Avatar is an Original Character (OC), designed by you!
It's important to be aware of who you create- if your Gavo is a grouchy old bastard who doesn't like company, your writing oughta reflect those personality traits! They should respond to others in a grouchy way, and look for opportunities to leave (and potentially complain about) a gathering of people.
There are a number of ways you can write out how your character could wind up in situations they would do their best to avoid when writing with others; maybe this lone-wolf Avatar needs help moving resources from A to B, or maybe they need to be guided by an experienced traveler through confusing patches of wildland.
Plots can take off in many directions; just be sure all the ideas and writing, sticks to Kokoatas' given boundaries and settings! Nobody can sprout thousands of wings to fly off into floating castle and become a new Head Royalty on a whim... but you Can walk over to Torva City, and go fishing!

Limits:
Each player may create up to 3 common Avatars to start, with opportunities to gain rarer ones, later!
(Un-common) and {Rare} Avatars can only be created after you've either:
. obtained a crest
. completed an in-game series of tasks
. have one of your Avatars have a drink of a particular concoction
Game Basics:
. Coin is the common currency, though there are those out there who prefer trades, and other currencies
. Trails connect known settlements; until you find other ways to move about, you'll be bound to listed timestamps
. Needs will fluctuate with the passage of in-game time...(you may opt out of this)
. Not all beings you come across in your travels may be friendly; combat isn't uncommon, nor are territorial animals
. Victory and survival can depend on your equipment, skills & skillsets, and your stats
