Hymun [Lineage]Records of Hymun lineage has been handled with little care; because of the deeply-rooted belief of having hybrid offspring, very few historical couplings and lineages were recorded. It's become nigh impossible for todays' Hymun to trace their lineages back to any specific pairing or families, and instead, have sub-categories into their own classification depending on their physical features, attributes or apparent lineage. Any extensive mixing simply leads to a Hymun being labeled as Hymun.

Hygo; Human-Gato50-50% : A Straight human & Gato coupling, Hygao have strong accents and spurts of Gato-influenced growth, from bone-and-facial structure to an extra appendage (such as a short Gato tail) Most Hygao are slightly stronger than your usual Human, but still weaker than the lowest Gavo; many can wind up looking like a stunted Gato with softer characteristics.
35% : A Hymun with a Gato grandparent on either side of the family lineage can spot some lovely Gato colours, including spots, patterns, eyes, and even small physical features, such as ears or hooved-tips on their hands & feet. These Hygao aren't considered 'Gato' by any means by a full-blooded parent, however they can gain quite an admiring crowd from Humans with their underpelt-like skin, patterns, and sparkling eyes! They often look like Gato with heavy human influences in their facial & body structure.
25% : A Hymun with a single Gato grandparent, these Hygao may still have a single physical alteration, such as a bit of ear-curling or a little tail-nub; if there are patterns they're fairly faded save for the Gatos tell-tail rorschach face splotches, which are stark and apparent , sometimes on more than a few places on the body! These Hygao are unfortunately treated a little colder than other percentages, as their blotched faces, black eyes and not-quite human appearance keep them from being welcomed by the more aesthetically-pleasing members of the community....These Hygao often look humans that've been doused in a Gato-influenced liquid!
10%< : A Hymun with a distant relative of Gato lineage have very few markings or sparse physical alterations that showcase any Gato-lineage; most Hygao within this percentile may still sport faded patterns, slightly unusual eyes, ears or face. They can still sport a fine under-feather-like skin and be exceptionally soft to the touch! These Hymun almost look Human, save for a few awkward physical changes, colours, patterns, and full-bodied fuzz.
Hykul; Human-Hoi50-50% : A Straight Human & Hoi coupling, Hykul have strong accents and spurts of Hoi-influenced growth, from bone-and-facial structure to an extra appendage (such as a short Hoi tail or fins). Most Hykul are slightly stronger than your usual Human, but still weaker than the lightest Hoi; many can wind up looking like a stunted Hoi with shorter, softer, characteristics.
35% : A Hymun with a Hoi grandparent on either side of the family lineage can spot some lovely Hoi colours, including patterns, eyes, and even small physical features, such as a snout, ears, and scales! Most of the distinctive features are symmetrical, and despite not being of directly Human or Hoi decendant, these Hykul are often welcomed into social gatherings any-which way.
25% : A Hymun with a single Hoi grandparent, these Hykul may still have a single physical alteration, such as a snout, long ears, a few sparse fins or a thin, frilly tail. Because of the aquatic-colours Hoi can take on, these Hymun can have unfortunate hues of green, blue or purple- no colours readily accepted by full-blooded Humans. Hoi will still recognize these ones as their children and kin, and the Hymuns' aquatic-affinity can let them keep long-lasting friends with full-blooded Hoi!
10%< : A Hymun with a distant relative of Hoi lineage, look nearly human save for a few asymmetrical smatterings of Hoi-blood, whether thats scales, some displaced fins, gills, strange eyes, or a short tail. These hymun take after their Human-halves more than their Hoi parents. Humans are more likely to accept them as 'fancy Humans', as full-blooded Hoi tend to see them as 'sickly pups' or too human-leaning to accept as kin. These Hymun rarely have a problem integrating into everyday society, but are often bypassed or ignored by Hoi, who believe sickly descendants to be written off as something akin to an 'inevitable demise'.
Hydrech; Human-Aedrachen50-50% : A Straight Human & Aedrachen coupling, Hyarch have strong accents and spurts of Aedrachen-influenced growth, from bone-and-facial structure to thick, cartalidge armor-like growth all over their body! Most Hyarch are much stronger than your usual Human, almost as strong as an Aedrach drone! The carpace grown is less durable than an Aedrachs, and it won't re-grow if broken off in any capacity. These Hymun grow feathers instead of hair, can sport anetnne, have extra-large eyes, and have an excellent leg-strength that allows them to climb up into Aedrachen nests! These Hymun are of a great curiosity to Aedrachen, but are otherwise welcomed by their mothering Hive. These Hymun, with effort, can hear their Hives hive-mind!
35% : A Hymun with a Aedrachen grandparent on either side of the family lineage can spot some lovely Aedrach colours, including spots, patterns, eyes, and even small physical features, such as feather-antenne and a few good-&-strong spots of grown carpace. Despite looking like colorfully armored humans, they're still welcome into Aedrachen nests (
provided they can find someway of getting into them, as they lack the leg-strength that Aedrachen have) and are still so aesthetically pleasing that many communities welcome them!
25% : A Hymun with a single Aedrachen grandparent, these Hyarch often have antenne, feather-growth instead of hair and vibrant colours/patterns, but very little carapace growth or Aedrach strength. They can till access their mother hive-mind (when in a quiet place & with concentration), and they can pick up the Aedrachs clicking tounge fairly easily. These Hymun aren't considered Aedrachen by Aedrach standards, and infact will get very odd-looks if they join in on a hive-mind conversation amongst full-blooded. Bug-like mannerisims can make full-blooded humans wary, but otherwise these Hymun are welcomed into most communities.
10%< : A Hymun with a distant relative of Aedrachen lineage, their hair will be made of feathers and their eyes are oddly faceted. They may have a soft-hue of their Hive-mind body-colour, as well as faded patterns. There's a chance they'll be easily welcomed into human-communities, however more bug-like actions, sounds or reactions will loose that welcoming-warmth fairly quickly...
Yomun; Human-Youshi50-50% : A Straight Human & Youshi coupling, Hyush often wind up looking like a stunted Youshi; shorter, weaker, and smaller than a regular Youshi while stronger, faster, and more durable than their Human parent! They often look like a Youshi thats been shrunk to a Human frame. Because of Youshi's 'all is one, one is all' mentality, these hybrids are accepted with open arms by any Youshi community! Hyush can't innately access the 'beast' form that Youshi have, but they have the aptitude to learn how!
35% : A Hymun with a Youshi grandparent on either side of the family lineage can spot some lovely Youshi colours, including spots, patterns, eyes, and even small physical features, such as a round snout, long ears, or a tail. While stronger than the usual Human, these Hyush are more Human-like in their interactions and survival than Youshi. They can make fast friends with their big tails and colourful patterns while still looking human enough to be welcomed in most societies fairly quickly, putting their slight-step-up in strength to good use! There are a few out there who can learn how to shift to their beast-form, though the
25% : A Hymun with a single Youshi grandparent, these Hygao may still have a single physical alteration such as long ears or a tail. Any colourful colours passed by their Youshi lineage are faded, and while they can still have the same magical ability as their Youshi parent, its' fairly weak and more of a 'party trick' than anything respectable as an attack-power.
10%< : A Hymun with a distant relative of Youshi lineage have very few Youshi alterations- they may have slightly longer ears, a light, colourful hue similar to the Youshi parent, and a smattering of patterns. There are whispers that there's a way for these Hyush to re-kindle their beast-form...
