Faith & Deities_____________________________________________ Faithful to the whole, and large beings made of unfathomable power; having Faith or following a Deity, are individual ways to grow in Mentality, overcome intense challenges, or be given access to incredible artifacts! _____________________________________________ Guidelines:. read up on particular faiths & powers at the library. different deities offer different blessings . make sure you know the deity you're praying to... . look at Gameplay Rating for opting out of 'Deity' involvement! - Following Faith:An intention-based practice which relies on an Avatars choice, faithful obligations often include choosing to not eat meat, offering thanks to something in particular ( such as fresh, flowing water), and finding contentment in offering help to those in need. Practices in faith can lead to respect from more powerful, or authority-based figures... Following a Deity:A practice based on gifts and praise, deity's are ethereal beings from another realm which lounge on the attention and adoration of their followers. There are rules to what they can and cannot do, but their gifts are often as lavish as the given attention; be wary of who you announce your following to, as this can be a quick way to make enemies... Practice:Whether practicing faith or offering gifts to a Deity, the more your Avatar acts upon either or, the more they'll receive! Deeds are never forgotten by larger powers ( neither are misdemeanors...)!

Shrines & Altars_____________________________________________ A large area built by the many hands of decades-long followers, Shrines are often impressively decorated statues with spaces to leave a variety of offerings. A shrine will always be dedicated to its specific deity! Altars can be made up of anything and be any size, crafted by-hand by an individual Avatar. Though they can be made any-which way, the reception of a prayer is absolutely determined by how the Altar itself is made... _____________________________________________ Guidelines:. a prayer can be done at a Shrine or Altar . well-thought out offers can get you more attention... . be careful not to insult a deity, lest they make your day terribly inconvenient! - [example][example][example] - Shrines:Almost always large and impressive, Shrines can be visited by most anyone! An offering left at a Shrine, goes to the shrines' Dedicated Deity Usually surrounded-by large pieces of dedicated artwork and statues crafted in the deities likeness, these areas have been made by previous generations of faithful followers. Many shrines have old offerings scattered about, no doubt wrestled about by natures wilderness & the passage of time. Known Shrines: Gallihans Shrine, Shrine of Dah'irAltars:Often totem-like structures for your personal praying needs, They're often small, even pocket-sized, and you can set them up nearly anywhere to pray to your intended deity- whether that's at home or in the middle of the woods! Altars can be made up out of nearly anything! If praying to a Diety, be sure there is at least one item connecting you to your intended deity. Crafters Faith describes the many ways one could create their own Altar!

Interaction_____________________________________________ While Deities revealing their true form is exceptionally rare, it has otherwise been recorded by historians more than a handful of times, leading to Legends, Tales of gifts, Prophesies, and half-breeds of their children... _____________________________________________ Guidelines:. deity interaction often happens as a random event. interactions are fairly rare... taking on tasks & tasteful offerings can influence any chances! - [example] - Quests:( Often as a random event), Deities may approach your Avatar in some form to ask ( or demand!) for service, in the form of a quest.

Blessings_____________________________________________ Always uplifting, blessings are always given as a gift and cannot be given away or sold. _____________________________________________ Guidelines:. following your faith earns respect amongst deities and their peers . fostering a relationship with your deity will earn you greater blessings - [example] - What's a Blessing?Blessings can be created and placed once-a-day by knowledgeable spell-casters, or given randomly by those following faith or a deity. Blessings are often small, nice, and temporarily uplifting things that can stack with one another! Common Blessings:These blessings can happen to anyone while praying at a shrine or altar! Un-Common Blessings:These blessings happen to those who've gone out of their way to practise their faith or have given thoughtful gifts to their deity. Those who give an offering or pray each day could have these things happen to them! Rare Blessings:These blessings are so few and far between, that many tend to doubt that these kinds of blessings ever take place. Any follower could technically be subject to these, though its often those whove devoted themselves completely who come across such grand designs. Gifts:Gifts aren't always beautiful, and can be potentially un-nerving; Be wary!

Afterworlds_____________________________________________ A place not uncommon to the world of Kokoata, yet transformed and changed, influenced by a deities energy and power; It's believed that there are a multitude of afterworlds, though the evidence is nil... First-hand accounts of those who have ( supposedly) gone through a regeneration cycle, are considered mad-men, their lives wasted away explaining and recording the experiences of distortion, altered appearances, and biology that exists beyond the realm of the living. _____________________________________________ Guidelines:. Afterworlds are only accessible to the dead. an Avatars' morality impacts their experience in an afterworld... . Bonded companions can form bonds which transcends an Avatars demise - [example] -

Morality ________________________________________________________________
Many things in the world can potentially be positively impactful, or distastefully disheartening... Morality affects how others perceive you- including beings with more enticing power... ________________________________________________________________
Guidelines: . morality impact will be noted in individual notes/guidelines .
- [example] -
Moral: Moral actions offer +additional points to your characters' overall morality.
Non-immoral/moral: Non-immoral/moral actions will not affect your characters morality. Most actions in the world fall under this category- some guides/notes may have this written out if it's a confusing topic, such as felling someone in fair combat.
Immoral: Immoral actions -subtract points from of your characters overall morality.
Morally questionable: These actions are questionable! They're not exactly good, but they're not exactly bad either. Your morality doesn't change, but you do get a '?' for every morally-questionable act you commit! Sure, pigeons are poultry and edible, but are you sure you want to eat it..?

Sacrifice _____________________________________________
A blood-oath offering is the most sacramental way to devote your existence to another being. Sacrifices are not taken lightly, and it is considered by the deities as a great respect to have a life taken in their name. _____________________________________________
Guidelines: . sacrifice does not omit the morality of taking a life . be careful who you talk to about sacrifice... - [example] -
